This sweater is freehanded and put together will hope, sweat and tears. It's it perfect? No. It's it warm? Very. It is named Lina's sweater after my roleplaying character that wears a sweater just like this when the nights are cold. Yarn: Alafosslopi from Istex

The Qanik hoodie. Pattern is a Linka Neumann from her Wilderness Knits. This is my first steek and first time using Alafosslopi. Bit like knitting with straw :) I’d forgotten how quick it can be using a 10 needle and bulky. I usually use 4 and fingering sport weight.

I've just started learning stranded colourwork, and as long as I keep the colours the right way round, it works really well. See results!
But I can see how holding the colours in two hands could be a lot faster if the dexterity is built.
