Privileged to chair this evening’s Braunstone Foundation AGM with the inspiring Angie Wright taking us through the context of the neighbourhood and our contribution to improving lives.

Key Highlights continued... Talk Time Social Groups for over 50's facing loneliness and solation - 2 groups per week with 1326 attendances over Be friending continuing to support people in their home with 8% calls made during the year. Second year success in our Getting Help in Neighbourhoods Project: Get Comected - Stay well, 392 individuals took part with 5473 attendances Braunstone FoodShare supported on average 75 Households per week - with extended "wrap-around" support via new partners Turning Point (Alcohol & substance misuse), WorkPays, PA Housing, LLR Mind and more Launch of LPT funded Braunstone Mental Health Co-ordination Project (pilot) 50 WarmCare Packs distributed during Winter 2023/24 - retied by men’s Group funded by National Grid Community Matters Fund NOW. → Through to second stage with Wolfson Foundation for capital funds To create a training kitchen at Gallards Hill A social space for projects to upskill, build confidence and interest - thus reducing fresh food waste. Success with B&Q Foundation for grant to replace heating system at Gallards Hill site. • launched the Braunstone Mental Health Network in June. Gallards Hill base awarded as a Mental Health Friendly base LLR Mind opening Mental Health Cafe At the Grove.

haven't taken the time to fix this yet... main-ing Cursor rn (hashtag workpays) and I wonder how much time I spend waiting to see if it's going to choose to do the right thing for me (which it sometimes does) before doing it myself
