"I gotta go; no working late tonight, okay, Ji?"

"I can't promise anything, but I will be home before its too late-"

"Keiiiijiiiiii. . ."

"Kouuuuuuuuu. . ."

Koutarou kissed him again, leaving his lower lip jutted out in a pout when he pulled back.

"Baby, your birthday is gonna come tomorrow whether you want it to or not. Probably would be better spending it with me than with all your pesky mangaka, yeah?"

"Fine," Keiji relented, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth despite how tired he still felt. "I suppose if I must grow old, doing so with you would be better than the alternative."

I love a matching project bag!This one was made by the marvelous @quilterina.bsky.social and it's def my complimented bag ever. Toe-up socks. Patons' Kroy Socks yarn in Midnight Orchid. Can't remember where I got the little cardboard sock tubes- do recommend though. 🧶 #showmeyourknits #WIPweek
