I think I figured out why. My top 2 most streamed games are Halo Infinite and Halo MCC on TwitchTracker. If you're gonna invite me to a small streamer awards show, at least watch my stuff or read past the first few games lmao my content is so much more than that. Low key a bit insulting 😂

What the heck is going on? I know its only 2 off but why is Twitch showing me at 2 less for avg viewers compared to TwitchTracker. Also why is the time off by 8 mins? That seems weird. No particular conclusion. Just super weird and confounding

PirateSoftware and CohhCarnage have good thoughts on this. Essentially, use TwitchTracker/Stats to see when views are high, but streamers are low, for games you want to stream, and steam then.

But if you DO want to use metrics as goals, then I recommend to make them small attainable ones! One way to do this could be to look at your past metrics from sullygnome and twitchtracker and use them as a GUIDE to what might be an appropriate goal. The last thing anyone wants is you to burnout!

I tried the TwitchTracker thing. I suspect there must be a lot of accounts that streamed only once or something inflating the numbers in order for me to be ranked in the top 5%.

In the 4 weeks since I kicked off streaming again, (after a 2 year break) since losing my job in July I have:
Gone from top 0.81% of all streamers to top 0.37%
Increased viewers by 11%
Making me the 27,248th streamer out of 7.2 MILLION streamers in July alone

Yeppp, anytime I see someone complain, I look at their Twitchtracker than watch a VOD. Once someone had 1 person in their entire 2 hour VOD, and the ONLY words they said to the chatter was "Hey man". You can't complain no one's there when you don't even talk to them. Like you said, baffflinngg.

Of the top 100 streamers this past month, only 1 is female (Shoutout to Emiru). Ironmouse is only #104 according to Twitchtracker and #208 based on view average. Twitch in a general sense is, and has been a male dominated space for years.
