I do wonder where Con Cafe would've gone if it had more time. It felt like it was initially aiming for a poly thing with the initial 4 girls, but Tsumugu felt like she was 2 or 3 volumes away from even considering Miki.

it is interesting to ponder on whether or not Tsumugu is not recognizing or not pursuing it specifically because as in the love hotel chapter it seems to be something she doesn't care for in particular? (WHICH IS NOT TO DENY THE YURI BUT TO EXAMINE HER CHARACTER NOT GOING FOR IT YET RIGHT NOW)

Especially with the love hotel chapter where Ao buys pre-made outfits, it's such a good detail in the context that Tsumugu kinda hates her but still respects the cafe? Tying back into how Ao also gets a new outfit in the finale

I really DO wish that Ao got more development because her introduction shows something that throws an interesting wrench in Tsumugu musing over other characters: what if there was someone she DIDN'T want to make clothes for?

I love the gravitas of the Elite Four early in the series. For such a strong group of characters the show is surprisingly restrained in making use of them, making little things like Nonon walking in on the battle with Tsumugu super hype. Then the first time one transforms you lose your shit

Re-reading con cafe again, I do think the author was intending something more with Sakucchi and the others, since she is fleshed out most with Tsumugu
