In other news, I've firmed up plans for Philcon this November. I'll be doing a seminar on "how to get the astronomy right," running two games, and otherwise signing up for some panels.
I'm also trying to get set up for Travellercon, but no progress on that yet. Plenty of time. (3/3)

I also opened contact with programming for both Travellercon and Philcon, so hopefully I'll be able to firm up plans for those over the next couple of weeks. I need to get started actually writing a seminar and a couple of games for those, but I've got plenty of time for that. (2/3)

I went to a string of small cons, OSCon, AppleCon, Travellercon/USA, etc and found them to be the most fun I've had at cons.
It's a fine balance between making them work and keeping them that much fun whereas a big Con has a lot more leeway with failures and mistakes.

Tomorrow I'm going in for minor oral surgery - getting a root pulled left over from an extraction last summer. Not taking any bets as to how productive I'll be after that. May be an off day.

Made the sad decision today, due to the costs for just me, that I shan't be attending TravellerCon USA, and GameHole Con the following weekend.
Gutted really as I couldn't find a Hotel for GenCon and can't live outside of downtown due to issues, I need to be in walking (40 mins less) distance.
