I went back to teaching public schools to work with #Deaf and Hard of Hearing Kids where I can actually make a difference.

Turns out my entire job now is writing IEPs and managing paperwork. I have to cancel time with kids to do paperwork.

Week 9: I don't want to be a #TeacherOfTheDeaf anymore.

I am NOT an audiologist.
I am NOT an ASL teacher.
I am NOT an SLP.
I am NOT an Interpreter.
I am NOT a special ed teacher.

I do trouble shoot hearing devices, teach language, work with aural habilitation, provide access, and provide specialized instruction.
