#TeacherBoundaries
Hey teachers. Don’t open your email today, or respond to that student text, or open your bulging bag of grading, (or or or)… Caring for kids and being a “good teacher” does not require you to sacrifice this day of peace and rest.
It will wait. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

Tough Day Teaching Tip:

Protect your peace: Turn off school email notifications after leaving campus (especially if you are on vacation).

When planning for next year creeps in, set a 10-minute timer. Write ideas, then firmly close the notebook.

Honor the boundary between work and renewal. #TeacherBoundaries
