Charger-connected after simple Pixel6aadd-on ecotalk simcard, now? not charging except for a vibrate on button press shows it is still alive!!! So, is this a common and irreparable, fault? Google?

Sound phones&speaker is good on the pixel6a but this evening removing the Pixel6a simcard tray (empty but connected to the phone e-sim inside).

Could probably solve it by going with a different company but finding it hard to find one that offers an old-style non-subscription pay-as-you-go simcard where you don't just get one month but can actually keep the credit until you've used it up
