Wasn't a mid-December vote on extending Obamacare tax credits part of the deal for ending the shutdown? When might we see that? And will the GOP shitify the language (by, for example, including a nationwide abortion ban) so thoroughly that it can't possibly pass?

I switched to Deezer. It's a perfectly adequate replacement for Shitify.

To be honest, I've kept the Shitify Family subscription (in The Philippines 👀) so my kids can 'share and compare' with their friends but they just ask me to stick more music on our Plex server as needed. The quality difference alone is outstanding.

The outpacing of organic talent will bite it sooner or later; afaik it currently takes about 3 iterations of a system being fed its own output to completely ruin the entire dataset. Since they’ve already run out of organics (9-12 months ago) it’s rapidly going to shitify itself faster than thought.

I listen to everything from Bach and Chopin to Robert Johnson's blues Duke Ellington and 1940s and 50s bebop to Britpop, jazz rock, Zappa and pretty much everything in between. I just don't listen to any of it on Shitify.

I'm taking this time that shitify gets trending to say I've been listening to music mostly on SoundCloud and Radio Garden. I love the weird stuff I can find on SC, and RG is awesome for letting you tune into stations anywhere on earth. It's a music buffet.

They, as well as Bright Phoebus figured very highly in my Shitify statistical run down this year, and Pys Melyn from Pwllheli. In fact the top 5 all looks quite psych tone friendly haha
