acceptance of emoluments by any govt official from a foreign power is a crime (Article I Section9). That's something SCOTUS overlooked when it handed down its ludicrous immunity decision.

And of course Congress can impeach the prez, the VP, and judges. That's not "no authority."

I could not find record of a board action on the property, though there is likely a lag in approved minutes being posted. Still, if a vote was taken as it should have been per their own policy, we should be able to obtain a record of it.

https://www.usg.edu/policymanual/section9/C534 9.8.2.3 Demolition The Chancellor and the USG chief facilities officer r nay declare, without further approval of the Board, that a building or structure owned by the Board of Regents sno longer advantageously useful to any USG unit, for the sole purpose of authorizing demolition, and to request that the Governor issue an executive i order authorizing demolition, provided that such building or structure is not eligible for a national or state historic register, and is either: 1. Vacant, and has been vacant, for an extended period of time; 2. Not a cost-effective candidate for repair based on a cursory examination; 3. Obsolete and no longer necessary to provide support for which was constructed and no longer needed to support academic programs; 4. Consistent with the institution physical master plan and a Regents-approved capital improvement project. In the event that a building or structure is declared eligible for a national or state historic egister, Board action is required to declare the building or structure no longer advantageously useful to any USG unit for- the sole purpose of authorizing demolition and to request that the Governor issue an executive order authorizing demolition.
