A pleasant couple of hours spent at #SeatonWetlands on Monday 18th Aug. Spotted Redshank, Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Ruff & 3 Greenshank amongst the large numbers of waders present.

Pure joy seeing that sand martins have finally moved in! Now 56 breeding pairs at #SeatonWetlands, Devon. Patience paid off: it took 7 years for the birds to start adopting their new home. Brilliant work by Doug Rudge and colleagues 👏 @eastdevon.bsky.social #birds #nesting

No luck in photographing Dartford Warblers at Aylesbeare Common this morning, but there were plenty of other small birds about including Siskin. I came back via Seaton Wetlands, and the female Stilt is still showing well, although the hide was completely empty when I arrived. #SeatonWetlands
