#TuleFog is low-lying—and hovers over major roadways, making night driving especially risky! I moved to #Fresno not long after college in #SF, and lived in the #SanJoaquinValley for three years and was not prepared for dense #TuleFog.

#SanFranciscans (like me) experience Fog differently: terrestrial warm air meeting sudden onset of atmospheric cold air, then getting “trapped” temporarily before coastal airflow dissipates the Fog. But this same dynamic is more acute in the #SanJoaquinValley in part bc “outlets” are minimal. 💨 🌫️
