I'm using Q4os! I haven't solved this yet- kinda getting used to it but still annoyed. I made it so mouse hover switches the active window, which is better than clicking, but I still have to remember to move the mouse back over the window I'm typing in 😂

でも、それを乗り越えれば、自分のように #Q4OS で安定運用してWindowsからほぼおさらばできてしまう世の中でもある。OS依存、単一アプリへの依存（自分の場合は家計簿ソフト）が怖い、と再度わかったのは収穫だった。
それでも他のディストロも同時にSSDに入れて嬉しがったりしているのは依存症と言えるのだろう。（または、OSを「飼っている」感覚だ）。

でも、それを乗り越えれば、自分のように #Q4OS で安定運用してWindowsからほぼおさらばできてしまう世の中でもある。OS依存、単一アプリへの依存（自分の場合は家計簿ソフト）が怖い、と再度わかったのは収穫だった。

Me trae loco Linux Q4OS, que no instaló los controladores de la conexión inalámbrica y probablemente estoy haciendo locuras yo como root para instalarlos. Aún no lo conseguí siguiendo mil tutoriales y voy a seguir. Esta distro me parece bastante apañada, pero no quiero estar conectado con cable. 😜

I'm stuck on #gamedev. I need to install the LAMP stack. I got Apache2 installed just fine. And I got MySQL installed while using Mint-Cinnamon. But now I'm using Q4OS, MySQL is refusing to install, insisting on me using MariaDB instead.
Anyone with knowledge in #database or #linux know how to help?

Wellll, I was using Mint-Cinnamon, and that's what my wife is using. I just switched to Q4OS (a KDE version) just this morning.
I'm thinking I like Q4OS a bit better, it gives more customization options for your desktop.

I'm running two VMs now - Mint and Q4OS with a W11 theme.
I've had a go at Redhat and Suse but I didn't really get on with them as I'm used to Debian distros.
If you have space and memory, spin up a couple of VMs with Virtualbox and check others out.

そんな結構忙しいなかで、息抜き動画つくったり、古いMac miniにQ4OSインストールしてみたり、古い古いMacBookAirに elementary OSを入れたして、Linux遊びしてる。

it’s been 2 weeks I haven’t post anything, anyway I’ve updated my father’s old laptop and installed Q4Os on it as I’ve been wanting to install a Linux Distro for like 2 years now, I’m planning to primarily use it for coding but I’ll see what further I can do more
