Après multiples essais seul #Q4OS #Linux a réussi à s'installer et à se lancer correctement sur ce "vieux" Pavilion HP un brin batard (une histoire de 32 bits faussement 64bits)
Je passe à un "vieux" ordi tour qui fait un peu le récalcitrant à pas booter sur les clés bootables que je lui propose

it’s been 2 weeks I haven’t post anything, anyway I’ve updated my father’s old laptop and installed Q4Os on it as I’ve been wanting to install a Linux Distro for like 2 years now, I’m planning to primarily use it for coding but I’ll see what further I can do more

PSO2NGS（ネトゲ）との相性の関係でデスクトップPCからVirtualBoxをアンインストールした関係でノートPC上のVirtualBoxでUbuntuを使うと重い（第8世代のi7 Uプロセッサ）んで、軽いディストリビューションを入れて見ようと思い立ち、Q4OSを試して見るなど。具合良ければVAIO TypePに入れるのもありかなーと思って32bit版を最初試してみたけどEdgeもVSCodeも既に32bit版は無いのね……orz

I'm a fan of classic UIs, so here's a screenshot of my 2015 MBA running Q4OS (a Debian #Linux based distro), with the Trinity DE and a classic theme. As you can see, unlike macOS, it's using only 600MB RAM! So even though my MBA only has 4GB in total, it's still fairly usable in 2025.

Tiens comme je suis FouFou aujourd'hui je réinstalle #LinuxMint sur le Pavilion de ma femme... Cela avait un échec la 1ere fois et j'avais finalement réussi avec le minimaliste #Q4OS
Le premier essai n'a pas été terrible tjs ce problème de Boot qui m'amène sur Grub et malgré #Refind ça a merd..

En el trabajo, en un viejo HP uso una versión de Linux 32 bits poco conocida: Q4OS. Ayer encontró unas actualizaciones y antes de acabar de instalarlas dio error y perdió las conexiones WiFi. Me quedé chafao, intenté investigar a ver cómo lo reparaba. Pero nada, yo no soy manitas hasta tal punto.

Instalado el FastOS XP, un XP modificado y actualizado con nuevas funcionalidades y compatibilidades.

También he probado a meter el KolibriOS en el Grub de inicio.

Je récupère dans mon entourage des laptops qui sont en fin de vie sous Windows, j'installe une distribution Linux légère dessus (j'aime beaucoup Q4os car l'interface rappelle Windows XP) et je donne ces ordis qui sont parfaitement viables pour une utilisation classique à des personnes précaires.

Ho un paio di vecchi pc molto lenti, sui quali provo versioni Linux.
Ne ho trovate due interessanti:
Mabox, molto veloce ma interfaccia ostica per chi usa Windows
Q4OS, molto simile a vecchi Windows, abbastanza veloce
Io li uso solo saltuariamente, ma penso che vanno bene anche per uso quotidiano.

Ne ho trovate due interessanti:
