Penha/Basyang seems to be only the second tropical storm on record to pass near or over Mindanao in the month of February, the first being Sanba 2018 (which was also named Basyang in the Philippines). Interestingly, Penha/Basyang 2026 is forecast to take a similar track to Sanba/Basyang 2018.
