Pulled my calf (Grade 2 strain) after my first martial arts class and benched until June 30. Surgery follow-up Monday may add 2 more weeks. It’s not easy, but I believe these 2 steps back will launch me 10 forward.

Pulled my calf (Grade 2 strain) after my first martial arts class and benched until June 30. Surgery follow-up Monday may add 2 more weeks. It’s not easy, but I believe these 2 steps back will launch me 10 forward.

I am so lucky to have the world's most terrible, distracting, and adorable studio assistant. He shows up whenever he wants, attacks my pins, falls asleep on the job, drools on my work, hates baths, and digs up my plants. I do miss him when he goes outside to do his business #studioartist #onmyterms
