I genuinely tried to fight the bosses the 'correct' way but either the game failed to teach me what that is for the fight, or the 'correct' way just wasn't fun.
I actually liked a lot of the human opponents though. Okatsu was a really fun fight for example while still being a decent challenge.

this was a very fun game. frustrating as hell sometimes - red warrior li and okatsu fucking cheat the ki system - but still very fun.
final boss was very unexpected but a wild set piece, and i enjoyed the epilogue
looks like there's some DLC to tackle now, but i must sleep first.
