Good flex pens start at about $200, and you can get something with 14k for that or a really nice steel nib pen for that and it will be reliable out of the box.

Pilot is an exception since everything Pilot is good and reliable, their flex pens start at $200.

Due, I think, to user error (mine), the nib of my beloved Kaweco Sport aluminium fountain pen has become lodged in the lid. I've tried everything I can think of to dislodge it, including lightly tapping with a hammer. Who, dear hive mind, has thoughts on alt remedies?

Van Dieman’s Sea Spray is a lovely green to pink chromoshader. It does write well, although I found in a medium nib it did lean more towards green without much pink shading.
