I’m rereading the Nausicaa manga for the first time since I bought them as a teen and it’s crazy how little I remember.
A little hokey here and there but excellent battle scenes and the ETCHING?
Mamma mia. That’s-a nice-a textural line work.
I’m excited to keep delving back in.

Ok nan par contre la je suis en train de regarder Nausicaa pour la 1ere fois justement, et c'est abusé comment Zelda dans botw/totk c'est vraiment limite un copié collé de Nausicaa, la j'ai l'impression de regarder Zelda the movie, alors que l'inspiration s'est fait dans l'autre sens ToT
Un dernier truc qui me fume d'ailleurs c'est que Nausicaa est doublée par Adeline Chetail en vf, qui doublera Zelda dans BotW, toute les deux des princesses en pluss d'être des personnages très similaires dans leur écriture, ça peut pas être un hasard... 👀

This movie is everything Avatar claims to be it's fantastic. I love how it shows you the beauty of the Ohms without any reservations; it doesn't have to embellish or idealize anything. The insects are beautiful just as they are, and that has value in itself
