You may know this - NASW's Code of Ethics at one point said if you have relationships in a community, maybe you can't see clients in that community. Absolute madness and horrifying from the perspective of minority clinicians.

EQMI has the honor of presenting at NASW’s Upper Peninsula Behavioral Health Summit, where we connected with social workers across Northern Michigan. We were able to discuss the best practices for building support networks, finding LGBTQIA2S+ resources, and providing holistic & affirming care.
