Of course it matters, and I made a mistake based on articles that I previously read. His name has been reported with different spellings, and a mistake was made. As a Muslim, of course I think the spelling of another Muslim’s name matters.

Sharia Law is extremely dangerous, especially if it is run by very strict or radical people.
A Muslim under bad faith can for example actually accuse a non Muslim for something you never did. Be it a Christian or a Jew, the court will rule in the Muslim's favor because of this.

I served 4 Combat Tours in the Middle East, wounded more than once there, I have very strong ties to the Jewish community in Caulfield (Melbourne) & I have no problem whatsoever condemning fanatical Islamist terrorists.
