The best thing that C has going for itself is how little tooling you need for it. Like, vim, gcc, Makefile, and done. You don't need fancy tools, LSPs, formatters, or anything of that sort. Manpages are there. All of the unix goodness helped it well. It's a simple language and needed simple tools.

Nothing makes me stop watching a Youtube video quicker than when they start glazing AI for helping them do a simple task.

made this little thing for my spouse so they can close ffxiv from their phone : )
also used this as a fun way to write a webserver in python using only manpages and socket api, and wrote an unnecessary amount of winapi (not much but surprising there's any)
packaged it with pyinstaller n its nice!

attempted to relieve stress by fiddling with zsh completions for a while. Maybe I'll propose replacing the entire zshcompwid and zshcompsys manpages with the text "GIT GUD"

wait I should figure out how to make scrot automatically get the main display and just the main display, otherwise it gets all of them. there's a parameter for that looking at the docs, "-D", I just don't know what my main one is called lol

eh, it wasn't too much effort. one online article to get me started, a couple trips to the manpages to make my weak rsa2048 into strong secp521r1, and then i just share the root certificate around my devices :3

I was just reading libxcrypt’s manpages and see why old CIFS is deprecated. The passwords are practically cleartext, the hashing is so terrible!

as for your rename failures idk read the rename.2 and rename.3 manpages, ultimately it "should" only fail for those reasons.
