#LanguageTransfer
I have a lot to share on this!
LanguageTransfer is totally free and is really good for getting an understanding of grammar and how the language works

Immersion is the best method though, "Chill Spanish Listening Practice" on Spotify by Anthony Morey is a great. He's clear and translates new words

Depending on what language you're interested in you might find LanguageTransfer interesting. It's a bunch of audio-only, quasi-interactive lessons through browser or phone app.

Hvad tysk og fransk angår, så tag evt. et kig på #LanguageTransfer:

Tysk er komplet, fransk kun som introduktion.

I’ll recommend a smaller app - LanguageTransfer! It’s completely free and offers a bite-sized series of audio lessons involving how to think through converting English to Spanish with some basic guidelines and etymology. Years of memorization failed me - this was much more my learning style.

PS: Some of the other apps I use and think are better include…

#Pimsleur
#RocketLanguages
#Busuu
#Mondly
I use these daily.

Others I have used are:

#Babbel
#Speakly
#Beelinguapp
#Clozemaster
#LanguageTransfer
#RosettaStone

I highly recommend all of those, except Rosetta Stone. I wasn’t a fan.

btw, I can't recommend #LanguageTransfer enough! They focus on surfacing patterns between English & the other languages, which is excellent for quickly expanding your vocabulary & ability to recognize words in the wild before you learn them.

Also, it's free! 😍

What are your favorite #LanguageLearning apps in 2025?

I’m still using these daily…

> For Persian:
#Pimsleur
#Mondly

> For Spanish:
#RocketLanguages
#Busuu
#Duolingo

I also like #Speakly, #Beelinguapp, and #LanguageTransfer.

I just don’t have the time to use all of them.

LanguageTransfer (they have an app and socials) is way better than Duolingo. Free, and explains the why behind how language is structured and goes into the history/logic of how it evolved. Way better than rote memorization

And they don’t replace their contractors with AI like Duo does :)

LanguageTransfer looks super useful and I will try putting my phone in Spanish!

I’m in a weird spot where I remember a lot of basics from highschool years ago but am lacking in vocab and more complex structure.

Would love to live in Spain one day so I want to commit

Oooh I've never heard of it but it looks cool! If languagetransfer do your target language I can't recommend it enough as a first step, with maybe this alongside for vocab. also YouTube videos in your target language adjusting playback speed for comprehension (start with Peppa pig and then work up)

Tātad, braucam...
Pimsleur - valodu kursi (30 akad. stundas / 175€), gramatika
AnkiWeb/AnkiDroid - vārdu kartiņas jeb vārdnīca
LanguageTransfer - labs ievads valodas apguvei, un te lieku uzsvaru uz "ievads"
iTalki - video čats ar apgūstamās valodas pratējiem
