He looks out upon the yard longingly... as though he can't just walk onto the grass or through the bars to freedom because I've already allowed him to have supervised outside time xD make it make sense

Somehow us getting up in the night is a signal to all cats that we are fair game for whatever they want to do. Spencer started hassling me around 3, I think, but instead of putting up with it, after the second time I put him into kittyjail and I slept until after 4:30, which is unheard of!

Spencer holds a grudge longer than any cat I've known. I'm not quite sure what I did this morning to piss him off, but I've been under attack for awhile, with my hands being the object of his anger. Only photo I could get. He's now in KittyJail after a rash of this, and drawing a little blood.

Same someone had an hours-long hissy-fit last evening that kept me awake long after bedtime AND inflicted a nasty scratch that landed him in kittyjail for most of the night. Little does he suspect he's going to the vet this morning (routine).

I know. Mr. Sweetness just attacked my hand as I was typing, presumably because I was ignoring his pleas for something -- probably 2nd breakfast. Didn't break the skin with those teeth, but it hurt. Earned him a visit to KittyJail where he'll be for awhile. Brat!

Hah! If Spencer is within reach, he gets petted a lot while he's sleeping. Locking him out of the bedroom is useless. He rattles the doors, claws at the carpet, and meows. The only thing that works is KittyJail, his carrier, but I'm not using that much anymore.

He's in the doghouse, er, KittyJail, at the moment. Got mad because I was ignoring his demands and took it out on my hand with his teeth. BAD boy! He wants out, but I think that's unlikely for awhile.

Right? I keep saying he's a brat, and he can be. Not a whimper out of him since he went into KittyJail (his roomy and comfy carrier). I'll let him out when I head out for a walk.

It's crazy, and doesn't happen so much anymore, as he's gotten a bit older. He seemed annoyed when I tried to go to bed and attacked my arm, long scratch, lots of blood. He hid after that but I eventually got him and put him in the carrier (kittyjail). Brat!

He is currently in KittyJail. He was sitting in that space between the keyboard and me, begging for something. Got tired of his demand being ignored and literally attacked my face -- teeth and front feet, in a flash. I felt the claws in a couple of places, but no blood. Brat.

Picked a fight with me, lost but wouldn't give up, ended up in KittyJail for awhile. Then when he was snoozing in his basket our very big (6'6") and loud maintenance guy came in to do some work, so he wisely hid under the bed then came to me for protection once it was all over. He's happy now.

This little rascal is finally sleeping, after harassing me for the total time I was working with a tech from Dell, maybe 4 hours, all in all. @microsoft.com if you are listening, I hate OneDrive with every inch of my being. Hopefully I'll never see it again.

He was a total brat for a good hour, or more, until I had enough and caught him and put him in KittyJail, where he slept happily until almost 5am, when I woke him.

Hah! Actually he slept soundly until he heard me stir around 3:30, and then it was constant until I got up around 4:40. I really need to stir myself the first time he starts to hassle me, and put him right into kittyjail, but I'm too comfortable.
