Para mí, como programador, lo más importante es que tiene una versión de Ubuntu más actualizada y eso me permite instalar versiones más nuevas de algunas utilidades. Eso y la consola incorporada en el explorador de archivos

If I start to run into problems or limitations with kdenlive maybe I'll give Davinci a look. Thanks!

(There is a paid version called Studio that has more features, but I don't need them)
The big advantages of Kdenlive compared to Davinci are:
- open source
- easy to install on Linux
- maybe more user-friendly? Idk

I was not planning on animating this initially - it was just going to be a sheath / flaccid / erect alt, but I kept adding bigger versions.
Ended up exporting each "frame" and stitching them together in kdenlive (or GraphicsGale, for the gif version on FA)

davinci resolve is another, and it has a paid version that includes more features, so id maybe check that out too.

KDEnlive is a great piece of software, especially for free software, but it was hard for me...

it would work, but id recommend learning either kdenlive or lightworks if u want linux video editing.

It's just a matter of being willing to put in the time to finagle things or change settings all together.

Kdenlive for a nice functional open source video editor (all platforms!)
kdenlive.org
And DaVinci Resolve for something a bit higher end, free version is plenty! I don't use this one myself, too much for my tiny uses. 😅

I generally use the Win version of Kdenlive because that's what I'm used to. But eh, I suppose I could give new software a punt.

I should try out kdenlive. I'm not opposed to getting used to new software to get rid of this crap.

I'm trying a few like kdenlive right now but I'm definitely gonna have to get Lightworks again... I recall switching off it cause the free version didn't support 1080p export

Plus it is free at entry. Like industry level software and you can download it for free.
Sure there is a more powerful paid version (afaik One Time Payment)
