To update my #ChronicIllness #InvisibleDisability🌻 saga, I’m switching my long-term pain medication from 1,200 mg/day of gabapentin to Lyrica because of side effects that popped up after taking the med for several years 💊 🩺 🫠

Getting off gabapentin was ROUGH — I forgot how much everything hurts 😭 😩

Instead of fighting against my chronic health issues 🏥, this year has been a learning process of how to coexist with them and not feel as guilty for using aids (e.g., cane, handicap placard, accommodations) when I need them 😅 🥲 🌻 #InvisibleDisability
