yup, the second tier state schools are all trying to compete for the students that didn't get into flagships and it's harder to advertise their quality of education than the impeccability of their amenities

i think all of her manga is funny but by GOD the impeccability of the comedy in onna no sono no hoshi just KILLS ME. it has my favorite examples of her writing humans who are just kind of weirdos having kind of weirdo thoughts in a deeply weirdo human sort of way
