#ITX-llama
AFAIK the ITX Llama used SATA and I haven’t tested this behind a SATA to PATA adapter yet. Should work though!

I wonder how compatible this will be with the ITX Llama

I'm working on a new video about the ITX Llama, from RetroDreams! A NEW x86 board, that can natively run old software, from ancient DOS, to Win98 era stuff!
A BIG focus on audio, with expansion for Genuine OPL3, wavetable boards (like dreamblaster), and Raspberry Pi zero 2, to emulate other cards! 😁

#ITX-llama assembly achieved. What will happen, when I turn it on? Smoke? Fire? Mayhem?

The #ITX-llama will almost certainly not need that much cooling, but the Noctuas don't necessarily have to run both.

A build for this would cost 500 USD+ ...and I don't really like DOS gaming THAT much. I mean DOOM literally runs on everything, but I love the DOS era of computers. It's crazy hobbyists can design something like this--it's exactly the kind of crazy shit I love to see from retrogaming.

The team behind Llama ITX is putting this case for their machine up for pre-order.

Look how fucking cute this thing is. I want this really damn bad.

OSSC Pro works great for PC stuff. I also use it with my Llama ITX attached to a Checkmate monitor. Currently playing around with the scanlines and shadow masks options.

Finished my #itxllama builds today. Built around the #chieftec BT-02 case, it features the ITX Llama motherboard, a #radeon 9250 and a #3dprinted front control panel I designed with #oled display, rotary encoder and buttons for the #MT32-Pi. Also a much needed reset […]

Messing around with itx llama and checkmate display, I lost a few hours of time playing Evercade VS. Will share pics of the retro/modding station setup when I've got it all sorted.

It's right next to the modern gaming PC setup, right where it belongs. 😆

Nice project! Is it connected to your ITX Llama? If so, how do you adapt the IDE to the Llama? Do you use an adapter get to the sata port?

These arrived today. If you're unaware, I'm also into retro gaming and this includes retro PC gaming. The small box contains the ITX LLama and several items for that. It's a modern PC that plays games from DOS up to Windows 98 era games on actual hardware.

Sadly I work the next 3 days. 😭

Hey Todd I decided to use a Prebuilt Case for my ITx LLama. Is yours the same as the official ITX LLama case or is it a new build you are making?

Quick update on some QOL changes to my ITX Llama case design (that will eventually make it to the Printables listing): Left side panel now slides forward and held with a thumbscrew and the video card now is easily removable without full disassembly

Nah. No floppy controller on the ITX Llama sadly.

Whenever I get some new hardware I just have to write some code for it. Here's my initial attempt at some DOS programming on the ITX Llama.
