Wondering about the alternative to concrete seawalls on our precious beaches?
A scoping study on beach nourishment for Sydney was done in 2010: "Maintaining Sydney’s Beach Amenity Against Climate Change Sea Level Rise"

Totally ignored!!!!

#HydroclimateWhiplash — fast swings between alarmingly wet & seriously dry weather — is expanding due to #ClimateChange. Warmer atmosphere has greater capacity to hold water vapor & store moisture longer, causing longer dry periods & more intense precipitation -

#HydroclimateWhiplash phenomenon unleashing fires on cities.

Severe seasonal swings between heavy rain and harsh droughts also raise risks of other problems. Retaining wall at back of our place collapsed after droughts cracked hillside and rains overloaded ground. 🌧️
