Now they should learn about the never localized custom student mode made for the homeconsole port in the style of World tour from alpha 3…
that had minigames and actual interactions with the cast

I think it's FINE for now to rest on the Switch success. Especially since refocusing all development teams is tedious and another Handheld/Homeconsole-split would be the last thing Nintendo needs again. (3/5)

joycon mouse is probably the single most perfect thing they couldve done

-will allow so many genres that favour PC, to thrive on console now
-no peripherals needed, only small tweaks to joycon shape to accommodate it
-if NS1 bridges gap btwn handheld & homeconsole, NS2 bridges gap btwn console & PC

The SNES to N64 was a change from 2d to polygons, rumble packs, and casing changes. The N64 to GameCube introduced CD media, the GameCube to Wii introduced motion controls, Wii U introduced a touch screen, Switch merged handheld and homeconsole. Each generation added something.

for the switch (less powerful model) i think a handheld-only model makes sense, while for the switch successor i think it should be a docked-only model instead since it's more powerful and that makes sense for a handheld/homeconsole split

I love the idea of smaller versions of games. Like oh, here's a game that's like a homeconsole game, except it has less levels and lower stakes. I find them cute.

oh right, I forgot the arcade version was compatible with save files from the homeconsole version!
