Just been phoned by the care home where our friend is - we're visiting Friday. Apparently there is a bad outbreak of flu.
I'm wary but know we'll be fine because we've had our flu jabs 💉

I’ve no idea where the 90% increase in demand comes from either @policyskeptic.bsky.social Tho disagree on flujabs being in the cause hospitalised flu bed days impact flow for crit care & reg beds. Resp LOS redn imho fastest way to improve thruout safely & reduce >12hrs. Been there, done that
