looking through the individual days, turns out the most I've played any game in one day was... 15 hours shiny hunting in pokemon shield? (prolly fell asleep with my switch on). 15 hours one day in S2 finalfest, 12 hours in botw in april 2017 and acnh December 2022, 11 hours on side order release.

tbf I was kinda expecting new seasonal themes to cease after the 2024-2025 cycle.
Main reason I think they did new ones for that cycle was because the S2 Plaza hadn't been used for Splatoween/Frosstyfest, and there was still S2 Splatoween/FrostyFest/SpringFest/FinalFest gear to newly give out.

Finalfest gear from 2 finally makes it to 3 lol
Side Order, as the name implies, is themed from the losing team of Splatoon 2’s FinalFest, which I happened to be apart of: Team Order. The futuristic visual setting finally makes its appearance, and it’s gorgeous. Probably my favorite campaign visually and aesthetically!

I still think it would be so funny if, after people voted for Past during the Splatoon 3 FinalFest because they wanted to have a game set during the Great Turf War, it just ends up being a Switch 2 remake of Splatoon 1

I started playing after the first finalfest had already happened, but I still had a lot of fun with it! The whole trilogy is easily my favorite game series. I have phases here and there where I don’t play it much, but I always end up coming back to it.
