My Student Loan was $25K when I graduated. I was not allowed to pay down the principle - additional payments were applied to the next month's payment. If I had continued, my $25K loan would have ballooned to over $100K. I was lucky, I took out a HELOC; most are not that lucky. #EndStudentDebt
