#ESP32-S2
I also had the opportunity to give a talk on it! Covered some of the previous work done by @dmitry.gr that allowed us to be able to do this at all, as well as some of the specifics about the badge firmware and other tooling we put together.

Really, really nice one!!
Currently I am working to bring Wi-Fi connectivity to the Tufty 2040 via I2C using another amazing board, the Adafruit Qt Py ESP32-S2. It is being full of challenges, but I am learning a lot!

I was already printing the case and this ESP32-S2 Feather was just collecting dust so I'm still gonna make some kind of little toy with it. I love the case design and think it came out alright in spite of my printer issues. Can't hook up the battery yet tho until I program in a sleep mode lol

Here, I've selected the base class of each of their major product lines.

C = Commodity 😉
ESP32-C3 - successor to 8266
C5 - Faster. Adds PSRAM. 5Ghz WiFi
C6 - Zigbee, WiFi 6

S =Speedy. Faster the old esp32.
S2 - single core "new" Xtensa.
S3 - Dual core of same. NPI. Great part!

P4 = Performance

For a side project I've been working on getting an ESP32 S2 to talk to the external flash and PSRAM chips on the board. And my friend, progress has been slow so any updates here will be very welcome indeed!
