3) Here’s where the owner of the server told me that @ogsterlingfrog.bsky.social(and I apologize for misgendering you here Sterling) was an unreliable clout chaser via replying to her own message where she posted a video by Kat Poyer followed up by a passive aggressive “just a friendly reminder.”
The post describes the screenshot fairly well. Her initial message reads as “hey @mugshotmidge just an fyi” in response to me posting a video of Sterling Frog replying to her own message that reads as “Gentle reminder for everyone here” followed up by an attached video of Kay Poyer saying something along the lines of “be careful of who you trust online, sometimes people are posting political content for nefarious reasons” which is good advice. Sterling is not one of those people, they’re an advocate for disabled people and they have been advocating for the disabled community for years. So I responded with “Idk, I just deleted it to repost it with a quote. They’re just telling Canadians to vote wisely in the upcoming election on the 28th. If you don't want it posted then that's okay” because I didn’t want to piss off the owner of the discord server. They then followed up with a passive aggressive message that reads as “oh no, just a gentle reminder.” She implied that Sterling is unreliable, that Sterling is only in the political sphere for clout. So, if I was banned for the autism info then there’s a pattern of ableist behaviour. If it was because of the Lil Kim screenshot, she’s a celebrity and the photo is WELL over 20 years old.

It just means that you're tired and it's okay to admit that. And when you admit it, perhaps you could take the next step and find opportune moments to rest. There's a lot of things you can cut the edge off and not do: you could not clean your kitchen, you could not do the shopping one day, but you cannot not sleep. So, it has to be a part of your life where you don't compromise very much on. - Fern

Last week a group of disabled political scientists published an open letter to the APSA Council.

We are asking that the recently formed disability status committee be led by & comprised of PWD who deserve to speak to their own experiences.
