#Crocwise
Thank you, CrocWise. I was feeling a bit empty today, but your kind words really filled my heart. You’re the best.🥰

One of the best posts for 2024 is from David McMahon. As he says, gives us a chance to talk about being crocwise in Northern Australia. The saltwater is clear so David can see the stalking behaviour but imagine a location with a still, muddy riverbank. www.instagram.com/reel/CwbyzSb...

Just casually chasing this guy in a helicopter for content, to remind people to be crocwise. Filmed by Ranger Helen.

Be crocwise around waterways, the beach & on country. A lot of crocs turning up in unusual places in Northern Queensland at the moment. Any concerns contact the Qld Department of Environment, Science and Innovation. www.9news.com.au/national/cro...

My gpa sent me this pic that he took 30 years ago of his mates who had to shoot this croc as it was consuming their baby livestock up in FNQLD.

I don’t know what’s more metal, the sheer size of the croc alone or oldmate who climbed two men, or oldmate holding two men like a champ 😂

Stay CrocWise🐊

Day 3 of Death Flu (TM) (Probably just a bad cold). Can't concentrate on anything, so I've been playing Dinkum while listening to Crocwise on repeat for three days now.

Made it to Cairns despite the drama.
I appreciate QLD has these warnings but in the airport toilet seems excessive

We don't have the full details in the Myall Beach Cape Tribulation case. Not to cause any panic but a reminder when in northern Queensland and generally across northern Australia to be crocwise along the rivers & beaches.

Crocs in the floodwaters in North Queensland now. When water recedes they may pop up in unfamiliar places. Be crocwise. There's about six systems over the Coral Sea driving the rainfall. Stay safe everyone. #qldpol au.news.yahoo.com/aussies-warn...
Aussies warned of danger lurking in floodwaters: 'Always an issue'
Amid cyclone threats and heavy rain, Queensland residents are being warned about an extra threat lurking in floodwaters.

I just caught this on ABC. NT & WA people will concur. This is some serious (all the swear words). Qld does not go removing crocs from their habitat without a very good reason. An Olympics event is not it. They've been here longer than any of us. Leave them alone, be crocwise.

Be crocwise in northern Australia. Heavy rainfall & cyclones can cause salties to become displaced. They are still turning up in a range of places in northern Queensland and probably will continue to do so while the monsoon is on.

3.5m saltie spotted in Cairns creek, warning about displaced crocodiles issued
Major flooding in the Far North last month may mean that crocodiles are on the move and residents are being urged to exercise caution in areas not usually inhabited by the reptiles.

Happy World Croc Day! 🐊 While we focus on sharks & rays, crocs are key neighbours in QLD. Check out these ones spotted in Rinyirru (2013) and Kowanyama (2020)! From salties to freshies, they’re protected and vital to our ecosystems. #WorldCrocDay #Crocwise #Queensland #Fieldwork #Crocdile
