Had a great time exploring #ClaremontVillage this weekend.

This artwork on display of the 2nd story of the Claremont Packing House really caught my attention!

It reminds me of the fossil record with so many layers, but made up of packaging from beverages.

They include the following: stillness is something we experience too little; tensions between forces can be intriguing, captivating and beautiful; as humans, we seek order and understanding; nothing is constant; everything is in transition, whether at a geological rate, the speed of light or somewhere in between. Getting at essences through artwork is a motivating impulse for me. I work from the disposition of the poet.
