My older brother is getting into writing and coming to me for advice, it makes me happy to see. Hopefully I can push myself to write more for Illya and Chuhaister. It's a vary emotionally complicated story and I always fear I'm somehow not doing as good as I should with these

This far I've featured Baba Yaga (though her role was kind of similar to that of the witches in Macbeth, smaller role and foreshadows the protag's future). In my current WIP Chuhaister has a very large role, Nyavky will also make some appearances. I have some other references here and-

I'm doing a very poor job selling this. It's a Sleeping Beauty retelling set in the Ukrainian Carpathians with a trans man as the princess. It'll portray the prince as the villain and the forest guardian (Chuhaister) as a protector/guardian (but even closer than that) to Iryna/Illya (the mc)
