A few of the new blooms today in my backyard
I don’t know the variety of Iris, it was gifted to me, and was originally planted in the 1950’s!
The second is a #CAnative Bush Anemone, one of my most gorgeous of plants

Hummingbird sage (Salvia spathacea) is one of my favorite California natives! Cute pink flowers, great trap plant for insects, smells lovely, edible, medicinal, & easy to grow 😍 I like to call it “mint” for fun bc tastes more like mint than sage to me 😜
