Tbf halo AI are super humanized due to being made from human brainscans. There's literally an entire short story about an AI dreaming

I do love the how the entrance slices of brainscans always look like weird Paint drawings of spoopy things.
Like this brain jellyfish.

Wrong again. Brainscans show the state of psychopathy. Let's discern!

My response to that is, can you just ask the Colorado River to turn east at the Grand Canyon?

This puts the neurotypical into a state of bewilderment, then I explain synaptic pruning and show brainscans of synaptic densities of an ND VS an NT.

It's effective about half the time.

Yes, the old methods of diagnosis were more based on hyperactivity.

Now they have the ability to do brainscans etc, and because of additional studies the understanding of the disorder has changed

Luckily I keep brainscans of my friends for this exact reason!

They keep disappearing around us for some o-oourp-dd reason.

one of my favourite details about SOMA is the reveal that due to being one of the earliest brainscans, Simon has become the benchmarking standard included in devkits.
It’s 2050 and a teen girl is torrenting a .tar.gz file of all the consciousnesses of all the tech bros who uploaded themselves into the cloud in a bid for immortality and modding them into The Sims 4

"Mit Hilfe von sogenannten Brainscans können Neurowissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftler den Sitz spiritueller und religiöser Erfahrungen im Gehirn verörten. Jüngste Forschungen zeigen, dass ein entwicklungsgeschichtlich uralter Bereich des Stammhirns dabei eine wichtige Rolle spielt." >>

On your own you can't match her, but the funny thing about the neural links is that they don't just transmit between the mech and the pilot - they record to a blackbox, accumulate staggering amounts of backup data, brainscans and physiological responses. Enough to build a template in her shape.

This was a small sample study (<100) that it seems almost no one has actually read. (Also see the ongoing debate about how brainscans should and shouldn't be interpreted in studies like this).

She had surgeries, they just were in the heart, not the lungs.

She does have schizophrenia, or are we forgetting how I said multiple times that I’ve READ HER BRAINSCANS

Her health IS still declining and she DOESN’T have long to live.

i know we all hate generative ai but that doesnt really change the fact that brainscans are near useless, id rather get real data

if i see that times article about brainscans and chatbots one more time im gonna lose it

I'm guessing you haven't seen brainscans that have been done on trans people then. How that, when checked for pheromones, they align with his women's Brains and not men.

Not to mentioned that from personal experience I hated being a guy since I was 5.

But you don't acknowledge that do you?

I participated in brain #ablation studies in college. It is fairly easy to remove chunks of brain precisely if one knows what one is doing.
With respect to public service we need to develop #brainscans to the end of excepting some nervous systems as questionable.
