I know I’m supposed to be singing nursery rhymes and stuff to #BabyWithBowtie, but I just end up singing ‘90s jams and classic rock songs. I feel like 10 years from now my son is will have a weird reaction when “Closer to the Heart” randomly comes on the extremely-oldies station.

I might have to take singing lessons. #BabyWithBowtie seems to like my voice when I’m singing to him, but I’m the one who has to hear all the sour notes I hit trying to sing songs outside of my vocal range.😅😂

My parents brought toys from my childhood, saved for #BabyWithBowtie. One is a toy drum machine with buttons that baby can press to get drum rolls as long as the button is held.

The other day I walked into daycare and #BabyWithBowtie, playing happily, saw me from across the room, beamed, and immediately crawled all the way to me (almost crawling over another kid’s hands in the process). So yeah, I’m gonna be riding this high into next year.
