Then I have two more days to pack before the movers get here.

Babalú-Ayé's day is swiftly coming up. I'm looking forward to spending time with community and my godmother. It'll be one of the last times I'm able to visit just by driving an hour instead of having to take a plane across the country.

One of the reasons I followed Babalu Blog was to observe how the "Old Guard" had turned on the new arrivals to the degree that they would mock them (call them yo-yos) and actually be advocates for their removal.
