This is a leaf showing the midrib and the little veins all intricately preserved. I found it between the pages of a book. Just beautiful, better than anything I could draw or paint.

The mural was painted in July 2023 and is located opposite the bus station on Pond Street The piece celebrates community and the beauty of human connection, brightening up a busy interchange area. Let’s invite real pollinators into our streets. It was commissioned by Sheffield Hallam University and features vibrant imagery including bees, peace symbols, and the Yorkshire white rose, alongside Sheffield’s city flower, the wood crane’s-bill.
