#AllReadingIsGoodReading
I read too much dense nonfiction and burned out the book reading part of my brain, and it massively impacted on my ability to read for pleasure, but do you know what immediately fixed that and led to my current 2-5 book a week reading spree? Reading old middle grade and YA novels I loved as a kid.

I've seen, heard, and read adults shaming other adults for what they've chosen to read, because of content or format or perceived quality, or how often they read.

Why do this? What does it accomplish? For adults as well as kids, #AllReadingIsGoodReading, so #LetThemRead!

Yes, And - Don't tease, harass, or belittle others (children, adults, or anywhere in between) for their reading choices - quantity, quality, frequency, content, or format. #EndLiteracyShaming #AllReadingIsRealReading #AllReadingIsGoodReading

#AllReadingIsGoodReading! Let's #EndLiteracyShaming between professionals as well as for kids! Read what you want to read, when you want to read it - there aren't any rules! (And if there are, we need to chuck 'em out!)

YES! All reading is good reading! Get out of kids' way and let them just enjoy the process of reading - that will make them want to read more frequently, and more widely, and more deeply!
