Haben wir leider bei AUTNES nicht drin gehabt. Vertrauenswerte vieler anderer Institutionen aber weitgehend auch stabil. Gerade Vertrauen in die Wissenschaft auch über die Pandemie hinweg sehr stabil geblieben.

Tatsächlich haben wir mittlerweile einfach nur wieder ein prä-pandemisches Niveau erreicht. Ein paar Punkte zu dieser Grafik. Erstens, wir waren mit AUTNES in der Anfangsphase der Pandemie nicht im Feld. Dazu gleich eine weitere Grafik.

2. Nein, die Pandemie hat nicht das Vertrauen in die Politik nachhaltig beschädigt.
Ein Liniendiagramm mit dem Titel "Vertrauen in den Nationalrat und die Bundesregierung", basierend auf Daten von AUTNES. Die x-Achse zeigt den Zeitraum von Juni 2017 bis Oktober 2024, mit drei markierten Nationalratswahlen (NR-Wahl) als vertikale gestrichelte Linien. Die y-Achse stellt eine Skala von 0 (kein Vertrauen) bis 10 (vollstes Vertrauen) dar. Es gibt zwei Linien: Blaue Linie: Vertrauen in den Nationalrat Orange Linie: Vertrauen in die Bundesregierung Beide Werte beginnen bei etwa 4,5 bis 5 im Jahr 2017, steigen nach der Wahl 2017 leicht an, bleiben dann bis zur Wahl 2019 stabil, bevor sie anschließend langsam sinken. Seit 2021 nimmt das Vertrauen kontinuierlich ab, wobei das Vertrauen in die Bundesregierung (orange Linie) niedriger ist als in den Nationalrat. Gegen Ende 2023 und 2024 steigt das Vertrauen leicht an. In der oberen rechten Ecke ist das AUTNES-Logo zu sehen. Unten rechts ist angegeben, dass die Stichprobengröße etwa 2.976 Personen pro Welle beträgt.

Es wird auch durch die unkritische Übernahme des FP-Wordings durch Medien nicht richtig:

„FPÖ TV“ wird vom blauen Parlamentsklub betrieben –
mit mittlerweile 15 Mitarbeitern, wie FPÖ-Generalsekretär Hafenecker stolz präsentierte. Jeder vierte FPÖ-Wähler schaut laut AUTNES mindestens ein Mal pro Woche auf das blaue Partei-Portal. Geht es nach der FPÖ, soll dieser Wert weiter steigen.

Jeder achte Wahlberechtigte schaut einmal die Woche „FPÖ TV“. Und rechtsextreme Medien wie „AUF1“ oder „Report24“ erreichen jede Woche ein Zehntel der Wahlberechtigten, zeigen Daten der „Austrian National Election Study“ (AUTNES).

🇦🇹 Wer würde regieren, wenn die Bevölkerung direkt über die Koalition entscheiden könnte?

Nach der Wahl 2024 waren ÖVP-SPÖ-NEOS und ÖVP-SPÖ die beliebtesten Koalitionsvarianten. Ein Bündnis zwischen ÖVP und FPÖ fand hingegen mehrheitlich nur bei FPÖ-Wähler*innen Unterstützung.

Ein horizontale Balkendiagramm zeigt die Zustimmungswerte für verschiedene Koalitionsoptionen bei der Nationalratswahl 2024. Jede Koalition wird in einem eigenen Balken dargestellt, unterteilt in Farben von Dunkelrot ("0 = wünsche ich mir überhaupt nicht") bis Dunkelblau ("10 = wünsche ich mir sehr"). We argue that reform support is shaped by SUPPLY-side factors (attributes of the policy proposal) and DEMAND-side factors (attributes of the individual people).
We use survey experiments from Silja's ERC project & from the #AUTNES survey to study all of these at once across contexts.
