I can't believe there was even room on the FPGA for it! Time to put some time into some demoscene releases.

PS. Anyone from 0MHz want to make single-click demoscene images? I tried but failed miserably :/

I heard what you said about joystick config! Got it to work, but in game music is choppy.... Had a look if it twas in the mister 0mhz collection. It is not but apparently you can script it yourself. May look into that. 1st step: Create a vhd, which i haven't done in ages but wasn't rocket science.

Glad it helped! If you're still looking for the DOS version, you might have some luck asking in forums/discord communities for the MiSTer FPGA, specifically the 0mhz collection.

We can reassure you that after the untimely passing of James (founder of 0mhz.net), we were able to work with his family and friends to get the domain transferred, and it’s now under our management — without any downtime incurred. We are currently retooling the 0MHz project in his memory.

G-Helper profile for normal work.

For gaming, just go with full blast fans and wattage for CPU and GPU.

Yes, our 0Mhz DOS Collection is using it. But looks like it might be time for an update!

correction, my mistake, Chex Quest isn't using fastdoom in the 0mhz collection
December 17, 2024 at 4:24 PM
A older version of Fast Doom is already apart of the 0MHz DOS Collection. It already found its way into Doom, Doom 2 and Chex Quest. Its lightweight enough for a 386 to run at 486 performance, downside is they lost a few features which the updates to fast doom is adding back.

We only help out on the web site front + project management part of this, so your best bet is probably the 0MHz issue tracker: github.com/0mhz-net/0mh...

@amiga.vision do you all think you’ll do another 0mhz update this year? Or is that a once a year thing?

This arrived yesterday during brewing. My wife saw it and asked what the "cute baby keyboard" was for. Cute baby keyboard is a 100 percent accurate description.

Will try to pair it with my MiSTer setup later today. No more keyboard switching. I wonder if the touchpad is usable for 0MHz DOS games..

The reception to the 0MHz DOS Collection has been fantastic! Thank you for the support, it means a lot to us. The last remaining task for the web site is to get great PC, CRT and game box photography on the site. Anyone want to contribute some photos? https://0mhz.net
