When cig taxes were first introduced, the tax was pretty small. I think they found that every $1 increase in the tax rate reduced cigarette smoking in the population by something like 10%.
Now that taxes are $10 in some places, everyone who could quit due to an increase in price already has quit

Time perhaps for some very hard-hitting info for anti-vax parents. Big posters showing children suffering, death rates, disability rates, why deletion of immune system by measles means child will suffer even more in the future. Go gory, it gets through. Cig packets did it with gory pix.
