Because you and we all know we cannot trust the current US DOJ to do their actual job.

Considering it always was, not sure where they’re getting “going woke” from.

My money is on these folks being the same people who would have blown a gasket when Uhuru and Kirk kissed in “Plato’s Stepchildren” in TOS.

Different year, same hateful fucks who don’t know what they are talking about.

Post links to sources, otherwise it’s just “trust me bro” and no, I don’t trust your post with no supporting links or cited sources.

Nah, time to start blaming republicans en mass was as soon as the first Constitutional Amendment was violated and the violation ignored.

Abolish and prosecute.

Until ranked voting becomes the norm for federal elections, we’re stuck with a two party system whether you like it or not (I freaking hate it). Keeping that in mind, in order for someone to get into office at the federal level, the odds are greater when you are a member of one of the two or allied.

Crap, add two more zeros to that 😉
February 3, 2026 at 1:11 PM
Your math is off. 300M Americans getting $10B each would be $30,000,000,000,000,000 …

Citizens United needs to be legislated away. Also remove the concept of businesses are people. That is a twisted concept that allows serious crime without criminal accountability and needs to be removed.
February 2, 2026 at 6:14 PM
Always was to some degree, less during some admins and waaaay more so in others. With the current president and his admin openly violating the Constitution, a Congress in the hands of a party willing to kowtow to them, and SCOTUS’ blatant corruption however, it’s the full Monty.
February 1, 2026 at 12:37 PM
I support losing your vote while your are serving time for crimes for which you were convicted, just like I support them not being armed with a firearm while in jail.

Once out of prison, though, whether through time served or parole, all rights should resume as they are back in society again.

Except that the candidate gets barred from running at all before getting cleared of trumped up charges.

There are existing laws the NEED TO BE ENFORCED before we enshrine yet another weapon to be used to do away with any semblance of democracy.
February 1, 2026 at 12:11 PM
And making a Constitutional amendment barring felons will enshrine the ability to effectively block opposition candidates from ever being able to run.

Tell me you honestly believe the current admin would not weaponize the absolute FUCK out of such an amendment.
February 1, 2026 at 12:08 PM
And if Congress did what it SHOULD have done when he was impeached, we would not be here. If the law had been followed (barring him for insurrection), we wouldn’t be here.

The fact is there are EXISTING LAWS that have been fucking ignored, but this new law would be followed because <reasons>?

Season 2-4 is the sweet spot for the series. Season 2 episode 15 “And Now A Word” especially keeps being so freaking relevant during both his admins.
January 31, 2026 at 2:06 PM
They got confused about what the I in ICE stood for probably.
January 31, 2026 at 1:17 PM
Yeah, not a theory. Just look to Russia for prime examples of opposition being sent to prison on bullshit charges and you’ll see the US’ future if a block like that is put in place.

This would not be an issue AT ALL if existing law was followed or if the senate had followed through on impeachment.
January 31, 2026 at 12:59 PM
Because that will encourage the prosecution of political opponents simply to get them out of the way politically.

Better option is get rid of any ban on voting for felons. They’re out on time served or parole, they should be able to vote as they are back in society.

GOP=Grossly Offensive Philistines
January 30, 2026 at 12:19 PM
Agree with everything except exile. He needs to be in prison, not being hosted in Russia or whatever nation would take him, along with Vance, Noem, Miller, Hegseth, and the rest of this shit show admin and the billionaires who bankrolled it.

Oh like Scottie didn’t have every processor on the Enterprise overclocked to “give ‘er all she’s got, Cap’t”

One of my earliest D&D memories was fighting a giant slug and being digested. A bipedal, speed stealing giant abyssal slug is the stuff of PC nightmares.
