Every once in a while (not too frequently, fortunately), somebody will ask why X character is Y or Z in one of my comics, to which my usual response is to look at them baffled and explain that the world I live in - as a mixed race person - is reflected in the worlds I create.

I don't think there's anything wrong with critiquing media, and is good even

Don’t get me wrong, I love canon pairings and have my own preferred ones. But what draws me to oc x canon is how it offers people the opportunity experience a spark creativity to create something new, something unique that didn’t happen in the canon story. It stimulates your mind to be artistic +

We've reached the saturation point with Cozy Indie Games. Bring back weird, slimy games. Don't worry about chasing trends. I don't want to feel the comfort of a warm fireplace, I want to feel the awkwardness of putting on a damp sock. Make something unmarketable that's entirely you.

small rant but i hate when people dislike a piece of media/anything in general just cuz it’s popular, i get that maybe fans are cringe sometimes and there’s occasional overhype but if you dislike it purely cuz it’s popular without even giving it a chance then ur miserable idk what to tell you
